These terms are the agreement between you and João Pinho, an individual based in Porto, Portugal, who builds and runs Sup? ("Sup?", "I"). By creating an account or using Sup?, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Sup?.
Sup? is a small, free tool to plan blog posts, keep a sharing checklist, put your plan in your calendar and see which posts bring in readers. It works with any blog. A few extra features only appear for people who sign in with a HEY address, because they only work with HEY World.
Sup? is an independent personal project. It isn't made by, affiliated with or endorsed by 37signals. HEY and HEY World are trademarks of 37signals, used here only to say what Sup? works with.
Everything you put into Sup? (posts, drafts, notes, lists, files) stays yours. You give Sup? permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to run the service for you, for example to sync it between your devices. You can export it or delete it at any time.
Only add content and subscriber lists you have the right to use. When you import a subscriber list, you remain responsible for that list under data protection law; see the Privacy policy.
Don't use Sup? to break the law or anyone's rights, to send spam, to mislead people with share links, to try to get into other people's accounts or data, to overload or attack the service, or to copy or resell the service itself. Share links can only point to posts on your own blog.
If an account breaks these terms, it may be suspended or deleted. Where reasonable, you'll be told first and given a chance to fix it.
Sup? works alongside services it doesn't control, such as HEY, HEY World, calendar apps and AI tools. Their own terms apply when you use them, and Sup? isn't responsible for them. Sup? never publishes for you: you send your posts from your own HEY account.
Sup? is free and provided as it is, by one person, in their spare time. I'll do my best to keep it working and your data safe, but I can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that the numbers it shows (subscribers per post, visits) are exact. They are estimates to help you, not guarantees. Please keep your own copy of anything important; Export backup is there for that.
Sup? may change, gain or lose features, or stop. If it's going to close, you'll be told at least 30 days before, with time to export your data.
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities arising from using or not being able to use Sup?. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Buying João a coffee is a voluntary gift. It doesn't buy extra features, support or guarantees.
You can stop using Sup? and delete your account at any time from the app. Deleting your account erases your data, as described in the Privacy policy.
If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told in the app or by email before the changes apply. If you keep using Sup? after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If there's a problem, please email first: most things can be sorted out that way. Otherwise, the courts of Porto have jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to go to the courts where you live. Consumers in the EU can also use an alternative dispute resolution body; in Portugal, see consumidor.gov.pt.
